Frequently Asked Questions
How do I open a Happy Herb Shop?
We have all that information on our retail opportunity page, and if you follow the enquire prompts we will send you heaps of info.
How do I find my nearest store?
All of our Happy Herb Shops and their contacts are listed here.
Are the bricks and mortar Happy Herb Shops better than the Happy Herb online Store?
The Happy Herb in-store experience is usually the best way to learn and understand about your particular situation and which herbs may be best. We always encourage customers to visit a store if they can and you will have access to a lot more products, such as new age gifts etc.
The Happy Herb online store is great if you don't have a local store but its also designed to support your journey with herbs and to guide you through the shopping experience. It is very extensive in terms of its content and allows you to explore the products and herbs at your own pace. We also have a very experienced human close by on our messaging app so we still aim to provide personal service.
Do your stores stock everything that is available online?
Most Happy Herb Shops stock the full range however we strongly advise that you call them first to check stock levels. You can find your local store here.
Do your stores stock other products other than Happy Herb Products?
Yes, we estimate each store is usually 40% Happy Herb products and 60% what they have chosen. They curate the look, feel and offering themselves.
What are your opening times?
The opening times for most Happy Herb Shops are around 7 days a week 10am - 5pm, but they do all vary, you will need to check each stores listing from the Find A Store page to check their opening times.
Are your products the same price in each of the Happy Herb Shops?
It is illegal in Australia for us to force set pricing so each store sets their own pricing. However we do advise them of a recommended retail price (RRP) and ask that they follow the online pricing. However some stores have much higher overheads, including the staffing costs to offer personal guided service so you may experience different price points.
Please notify us if you experience a store charging an unreasonable amount for our products.
How many Happy Herb Shops do you have in Australia and do you have any overseas?
At the time of writing we have 18 Happy Herb Shops in Australia, and non overseas. We are looking to grow this to 100 so if you or you know anyone that would love to have their own Happy Herb Shop then please get in touch with us here.
Are Happy Herb Shops the former Happy High Herb Shops.
Yes, we changed our identity around 2010 when the psychoactive Laws were starting to impose restrictions on herbal highs.
You can learn more about how we have evolved and our history here.
Are all the stores company owned?
No, most of the Happy Herb Shops were established on a franchise model, however we are moving to a License model in 2025, which will still give the customer the same experience, but the store has more freedom to express their individuality.
Do you have other stockists other than Happy Herb Shops?
We sure do, we will soon have a page that can direct you to this. Most stockists only offer a portion of the range, eg one shop may stock our teas, whilst another may specialise in tobacco alternatives.
If you are interested in becoming a stockist then check out our wholesale opportunities.
