Noble Blend Kava: Poured to Be Passed Around
Our own blend of three Noble cultivars from Espiritu Santo in Vanuatu, Borogoru, Melo Melo and Kelai, ground from the washed and peeled root the traditional way. Borogoru brings the depth, Melo Melo the creaminess, Kelai the lift, and the three together make the bowl we would pour for a table of friends.

Ingredients
Content: Noble Kava root (Piper methysticum), Borogoru, Melo Melo and Kelai cultivars, traditional grind
PREPARATION
PREPARATION
A serve is up to 3 heaped tablespoons (35 to 40 g) per person. Put the root in a kava strainer in a bowl, cover with 600 mL of room-temperature water, never hot, and knead and squeeze the strainer for five to ten minutes. Strain into a cup or a shared bowl, and keep the root for a second, lighter brew. Drunk over the evening, a few times a week rather than every day, and not on a night with alcohol. A splash of milk or coconut milk makes it smoother.

Kava
Traditionally used as a ceremonial drink in the Pacific Islands, enjoyed for its relaxing, mood enhancing and mildly intoxicating effects.
This is excellent for sleep and when feeling a tad anxious. Was wondering; this is not instant is it? Does it need to be strained?
Hi, instant means you don't have to process it like you do traditional. The plain Kava branded bags we offer are traditional, although many people say our kava is so effective that even the slightest processing creates an effect. That said, I LOVE our instant range, same efffect but 1/3 of the amount dissolved in warm water in seconds. I got the Kava as a replacement for social situations.
And I have to say, it's worth the try.
I love the calming effect without the hangxiety that alcohol brings. Doesn't taste the best 😂 but it's worth it
Hi just wondering when you will have more kava in stock ?
Hello, just wondering if this is confirmed as a noble kava variety? Thank you!
Hi Fiona, great question! We only source noble kava, so it has a better effect. Cheers!
