Cat’s Claw (Uncaria tomentosa (Willd. ex Schult.) DC.)
Cat’s Claw, the bark of Uncaria tomentosa, is a woody vine native to the Amazon rainforest and parts of Central and South America. Its bark contains a range of active compounds including oxindole alkaloids, quinovic acid glycosides, proanthocyanidins, and various phenolic compounds(1). These phytochemicals have been studied for their ability to modulate immune cell activity, regulate inflammatory signalling, and contribute to antioxidant defence within the body(1).
In traditional Amazonian and Peruvian herbal medicine, Cat’s Claw has been used to support general health, digestive comfort, and the body’s natural response to inflammation. Modern research continues to explore its potential for immune and oxidative balance(2).

Stacey J. Ive known of this medicinal plants properties for some years and was glad when i seen it for sale on this site and of course ordered it........its not the yummiest to drink but it is amazing at boosting immunity and fighting viruses .
