Kava
Traditionally used as a ceremonial drink in the Pacific Islands, enjoyed for its relaxing, mood enhancing and mildly intoxicating effects.
This is my second time purchasing Happy Herbs Kelai Kava. I drink some after work / before bed and helps me to unwind as well keeping my anxiety at bay the next day. I haven’t really noticed much in the way of pain relief unless I take it with my Mary Jane. Together the cereal effects are heightened. I’ve been using a cheesecloth to massage it but this time round I purchased the kava straining bag just to make it a little easier. Has a slight numbing/tingling sensation on your mouth when you drink it but that was to be expected, after all it is from the pepper family (so I believe anyway) . Not the greatest taste, but that doesn’t bother me. I just guzzle it down knowing how much the benefits way out weigh the taste factor! Thank you Happy Herb Co for sourcing such high quality wonderful herbs 🌿 🩷
Wonderful. The tingling sensation is part of the fun of kava. I add it to my evening warm drink and it masks the taste but the sensation is still strong. Enjoy xx.
