Paw Paw leaf tea is great for improving digestion, as the enzymes (papain) help to break down tough proteins into amino acids. Studies have found that papain also has anti-cancer effects. Paw Paw leaf is used to detoxify the intestines and expel parasites, the tannins in the leaf helping to protect the intestine from reinfestation. Traditionally, leaves have been used as a heart tonic and to reduce inflammation and pain. Research has also found paw paw leaf beneficial in treating patients with dengue fever.

Papaya Leaf (Carica papaya L., folium)
The leaves of Carica papaya contain a rich array of flavonoids (such as quercetin and kaempferol glycosides), alkaloids (notably carpaine), phenolic compounds, saponins, and minerals such as potassium, calcium and iron¹. These constituents contribute to the herb’s traditional use in parts of Asia and Africa for supporting general nourishment, digestion and during recovery from viral illnesses². Laboratory and early-stage human research indicate that papaya leaf extracts may support platelet levels and exhibit antioxidant, antimicrobial and immune-modulating activity³.

Paw Paw Leaf
Studies have demonstrated that it may have anti-oxidative, anti-inflammatory and antibacterial actions.
I use this for my chronic chest pain and it works so well
I do have cancer but its in remission and has been for a few years. I try to have a good diet and I know people who have been on paw paw leaves and their cancer has been in remission as well. I not saying this is a cure but there is evidence to suggest these may work in in some people.
The leaves are nicely packaged and the tea is easy to make. I,m not on them all the time but fairly regularly.
