Precautions

Avoid if you are allergic to plants of the daisy family (Asteraceae). Severe allergic reactions have been reported. Burdock can cause temporary flare-ups in skin conditions such as psoriasis or eczema. If this happens, reduce the amount and combine with St Mary's Thistle. Use caution with anticoagulant (blood-thinning) and diabetes medicines, as Burdock may add to their effects. If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, check with your health professional first.
