Nettle (Urtica dioica) — leaf (Urticae folium)
The leaves of Urtica dioica (stinging nettle) contain flavonoids (such as quercetin and kaempferol), phenolic acids (including caffeic and chlorogenic acids), minerals, vitamins, and small amounts of lignans and polysaccharides¹. These compounds contribute to the herb’s traditional use for mild anti-inflammatory and diuretic effects¹. In European herbal medicine, nettle leaf has long been taken to support urinary flow and ease mild joint discomfort. The European Medicines Agency (EMA) recognises Urticae folium as a traditional herbal medicine used for “minor urinary complaints” and as an aid in “symptoms of joint pain”². The herb’s actions appear to relate to gentle diuresis, antioxidant activity, and modulation of inflammatory pathways observed in laboratory studies².

Thats great, Nettle is such a power super food and we mostly use it for tea so thanks for the feedback on it as a smoke
I have only taken the nettle tea a few times but will be continuing with it. I put honey in it so it’s quite palatable. I will have a better idea of the effects when I have taken it longer but it gets very good reviews so I’m sure it’s going to be beneficial.
Nettle leaf tea is amazing, it's so cleansing.
I have it on its own or mix with a few different herbs, it's a lovely addition to any blend.
Thanks for sharing your feedback. I love it blended with Horsetail and Pine Needle, its so refreshing and always gives me nice clear wee's. Thanks Laura
I have this every morning with gotu kola and Yerba mate and the combo helps to wake me up and set me up for a focused energised day.
Can’t say it tastes great and I’ve narrowed it down that the nettle leaf makes me pee like crazy!!
