Precautions

Avoid if pregnant or breastfeeding. Greater Celandine taken internally has been linked to cases of liver injury (acute hepatitis). The TGA recommends that for internal use (tea or tincture) Greater Celandine be used only under the supervision of a healthcare professional, that anyone with a history of liver disease seek advice from a healthcare professional before starting, and that use be stopped if symptoms that may point to liver trouble occur, such as yellowing of the skin or eyes or dark urine.
