Spiced Kava Colada

A grounding herbal mocktail for calm connection & cosy cheer

This Spiced Kava Colada is a creamy, gently warming herbal elixir designed to soften the body, quiet the mind, and invite relaxed, heart-led conversation. Inspired by the classic piña colada, this alcohol-free version swaps the buzz for deep calm — using Kava to ground the nervous system, ginger to spark gentle warmth, and tropical pineapple and coconut to keep things joyful and celebratory.

It’s the perfect drink for long afternoons, sunset gatherings, or evenings when you want to unwind without switching off. Earthy, spiced, and surprisingly comforting, this is a mocktail made for slowing down, dropping in, and feeling at ease together.

Instructions

Ingredients:

  • 1 tsp Instant Green Kava
  • 120 ml pineapple juice
  • 1 tbsp coconut cream
  • 2-3 thin slices fresh ginger
  • Pinch of ground cinnamon (plus extra to garnish)
  • Ice
  • Optional garnish: pineapple wedge, lime, cinnamon stick

Method:

  1. Stir the kava
    Add 1 tsp of Instant Green Kava directly into the pineapple juice. Stir well until fully dissolved.
  2. Shake it up
    Pour the kava-pineapple mixture into a shaker (or jar) with coconut cream, fresh ginger slices, cinnamon, and a generous scoop of ice.
  3. Mix & chill
    Shake vigorously until creamy, chilled, and lightly frothy.
  4. Serve
    Strain or pour into a chilled glass over fresh ice. Dust lightly with cinnamon and garnish as desired.
  5. Sip slowly
    Take your time — this elixir works best when enjoyed mindfully.
