PHYTOTHERAPY
Calendula officinalis
Calendula officinalis, often known as calendula or marigold, is valued for its bright orange and yellow petals, which contain a mix of beneficial plant compounds. These include triterpene saponins, flavonoids such as quercetin and isorhamnetin, and carotenoids like lutein and zeaxanthin(1). Together, these constituents have been shown to support the body’s natural antioxidant defences and help regulate local inflammatory responses, especially in the skin and mucous membranes(2).
In traditional European herbal medicine, calendula has been used externally to soothe minor wounds and skin irritations, and internally as a mild tea or gargle for mouth and throat comfort(1).

Calendula
Calendula is one of the best herbs for healing the skin when used externally. Internally it is valuable for digestive inflammation, bladder infections and ulcers.
Great addition to any blend, doesn't have a strong taste or smell so is perfect for any beginner to herbal teas. Works great as either a tea or smoking herb, tastes delicious both ways. Super soft, light and yummy.
Great review thanks. Have you tried infusing it in oil. Choose an oil you don't mind using on your body, my favourite is Moringa oil, and soak for at least one month, it will then give you a wonderful skin healing oil. Thanks Laura
So stoked with the purchase thanks so much quick as shipping can't complain at all! :)
