Mugwort (Atemisia Vulgaris)
Artemisia vulgaris, commonly known as mugwort, is an aromatic herb traditionally used across Europe, Asia and Indigenous medicine systems. Its leaves contain a diverse blend of volatile oils (such as camphor, 1,8-cineole, sabinene and traces of thujone), as well as sesquiterpene lactones, flavonoids, and phenolic acids¹. These compounds contribute to mugwort’s warming, aromatic character. In traditional practice, mugwort has been used to support digestion, ease bloating or cramping, and as a gentle nervine to promote relaxation². In East Asian medicine it is also valued for moxibustion, where dried leaves are burned near the skin to warm meridians².

Mugwort
A highly medicinal herb, good for soothing pain and enhancing dream vividness/recall, as well as being a great liver tonic and aid for menstrual problems. Close relative of Artemisia vulgaris, the common Mugwort, but with a much stronger aroma.
