An oxymel is a healing elixir created with vinegar, honey & complimentary herbs. For this blend we chose heart opening herbs but you can use any herbs you’d like! 🌱
Damiana is one of our favourite herbs to ease stress, boost mood, and inspire sensuality.Â
Rose is a heart-opening, stress-busting and mood enhancing aromatic.
Schisandra is an adaptogen and tonic herb that supports energy levels, reduces stress, aids detoxification and supports the heart, lungs, kidneys and liver.
Instructions
Ingredients:
- 1/2 cup Damiana
- 1/2 cup Rose Petals
- 1/2 cup Schisandra Berries
- 1/2 cup Honey (approximately)
- 1/2 cup Apple Cider Vinegar (approximately)
(Use equal amounts of Honey and Apple Cider Vinegar, enough to cover the herbs completely)
Method:
- Place all herbs in a clean, dry jar
- Cover with Apple Cider Vinegar and Honey, in equal amounts (this is called your menstruum).
- Close lid & shake well.
- Add more menstuum to cover herbs completely.
- Place in a cool, dry place for 2 weeks.
- Strain & enjoy!
- Take 1-2 tsp at a time.
