So what is the Lion's Gate Portal?
Each year around August 8, the Sun in Leo aligns with Sirius (the brightest star in our sky), along with the Earth and Orion’s Belt. This creates what’s known as the Lion’s Gate Portal — a cosmic window believed to heighten spiritual connection, clarity, and manifestation energy.
Sirius has been honoured by ancient cultures for thousands of years — especially in Egypt, where its rising symbolised rebirth, fertility, and new beginnings. Its appearance marked the flooding of the Nile and the Egyptian New Year. Modern mystics coined the term Lion’s Gate to describe this energetic opening — combining ancient sky lore, Leo’s heart-fire, and the numerological power of 8/8 for infinite potential.
