It also assists in ovarian and uterine pains, such as menstrual cramps. Its anti-inflammatory action helps relieve the discomfort of rheumatoid arthritis, even in the acute phase. Wild Yam has been used in the manufacture of contraceptive hormones, however the herb does not have a contraceptive effect.

Wild Yam
Wild Yam is commonly used to ease the discomfort of menstruation and ovarian pain, and may also assist with symptoms of menopause.
I really enjoy this with some others I mix up for my autoimmune disease. They help for my pain and hopefully they will slow its progression :)
I bought to add to my other teas as I have an inflammatory arthritis. Tastes fine, we’ll see how it works :)
