Brainstorm Herbal Tea Blend

HERBAL TEA

This delicately vanilla-flavoured tea is perfect for studying, working or simply concentrating on life. Brahmi and Ginkgo are herbs that have been traditionally used to improve concentration, memory and focus and reduce the effects of ageing on the brain. Tulsi is considered a sacred plant in Ayurvedic medicine and is used to induce a calm yet focused mental state. A small amount of green tea provides gentle stimulation and alertness.


Ingredients: Tulsi, gingko, brahmi, green tea, vanilla, stevia, cornflower petals.

Preparation: Brew the tea by steeping 1 heaped
teaspoon per cup of boiling water for 3-5 mins. Sweeten if desired.

Detox Herbal Tea Blend

HERBAL TEA

This tea blend has been created to offer a gentle and pleasant-tasting detoxification aid. The herbs used in this tea have been traditionally used by herbalists to gently yet effectively cleanse the body of unwanted wastes and toxins, support the liver and kidneys and improve elimination.


Contents: Nettle, red clover, ginger, dandelion root, licorice, dandelion leaf, peppermint, burdock, calendula and chrysanthemum.

Preparation: Drinking tea is an excellent way to detox. Brew in a teapot, using 1 heaped teaspoon per cup of boiling water. Steep covered for 10 mins. Drink hot 3-5 times per day. Sweeten with honey if desired. Drink for at least 10 days. This tea will be most effective at cleansing the body if it accompanies a diet of simple foods, eliminating sugar, alcohol, caffeine, dairy, drugs, tobacco and processed foods

Many of the herbs in this tea have traditionally been used by herbalists at times when the body needs an increased level of minerals, such as pregnancy, breast-feeding, menopause, old-age, chronic illness and convalescence.


Contents: Nettle, horsetail, red clover, alfalfa, oatstraw, licorice, cinnamon, fennel seed and chrysanthemum.

Preparation: The herbs must be boiled then covered for 10mins in order to extract their mineral content. Use 1 heaped teaspoon per cup of water. Drink freely, hot or cold throughout the day.
